“ ROLLS, Oh the ROLLS! Did I mention they have hot fresh baked rolls served with homemade butter? I could just eat my weight in rolls but decided I must try all the buffet offerings since we were there. Saturday menu was fried chicken, BBQ pork, green beans, mashed potatoes, white gravy, baked beans, and coming in a close second to the rolls is their cream corn & included is a small but delicious salad bar with homemade dressings and the most delicious ham bits to give that salad a little bit extra Yumminess. Let's go back to that cream corn, it has real cream in this creamy corncoction that you will make you want to lick it off your plate. Save some room because the desserts are Awemazing! ( not misspelled I totally am in Awe) coconut pie, chocolate pie, cherry pie, apricot pie, peach pie, lemon pie, pineapple coconut pie, several cookie options, chocolate cake, pumpkin bread, cinnamon buns, banana pudding. Blackberry cobbler, strawberry rhubarb cobbler,peach cobbler and soft serve ice cream all you can eat! So here was my strategic plan, I got a bowl and put one scoop of all 3 of the cobblers in the bowl and put soft serve ice cream in the middle. Then I brought my favorite pies to the others at the table and charged a bite tax for my service. It was a good idea until I had to be rolled out the door. The ambiance is giving "Nana has too many grandkids to feed"but you won't care once you take your first bite of those rolls. Oh those rolls! The staff only replenish the food at the buffet and cash you out so if you want a second helping or drink refill you serve yourself. You won't care because no one will be judging you for gluttony this way. Stop by every day because the buffet offerings change . They have catfish on Fridays. & Monday is Turkey & dressing but I can't remember the other days but I am sure it's all good. They also serve breakfast in the mornings, Rumors are it's pretty good too with waffles that will have you coming back. The good news is it's not close to where I live so I won't have to size up 4 sizes. Happy eating! ”

“ Don't expect a ton of flair in terms of what you would get at other places but that's not a problem for me. They are one of our two spots for a good day trip, nice hot meal and some pies here then we follow it up with a walk through the Cheese House across the street. The staff were nice enough to help me get a peanut butter pie home for my SO as a surprise. I've yet to find anything in there I don't like, it's all just classic good home food. It's such a cozy little place and I have so many memories here with my family. ”
“ This will work for some...not for others..small town, set price, set menu buffet with established main dishes, salad bar and huge dessert spread. Nothing fancy, just good food at a decent price. We were there for fried chicken and barbecue pork ribs. There was also chicken and noodles, beans, mashed potatoes...and some other sides. Salad bar was pretty full of selections, and the desserts went on and on....and on....and on. We sampled about 5 different pies and cobbler... Price was about $16/person, but that included the beverage and the desserts...which puts the entree and salad bar at less than $10. Service was friendly...and even though we were "outsiders" we felt like family. Decor was simple...no frills, but clean. We enjoyed it, left full, and didn't break the bank. Good food, fair price. Limited, but for a small town, a good choice ”
